Lauren Braun Costello is The Competent Cook.

After graduating from The French Culinary Institute (FCI), Lauren founded Gotham Caterers in 2002, catering some of New York’s most intimate high-profile events. A passionate and knowledgeable teacher, Lauren is a chef instructor for the JCC in Manhattan (visit her calendar for details), as well as for private clients. She works as a food stylist and culinary producer for various national and local television broadcasts, including segments for The View and The Early Show on CBS.
